England – Premier League

Manchester City – Watford

Manchester City saw their last outing end in a rather frustrating 1 nil win over Bournemouth. A win which saw they climb the top of the table with a point advantage. Liverpool dropped 2 points as they drew with Everton in the Merseyside derby.

This game sure holds more promise as City have won their last 5 games at home scoring 13 goals and win 14 of the last 15 at the Etihad.

Watford would still be nursing their wounds from their last trip to the North West region. They suffered a humiliating 5-0 thumping in the hands of Liverpool and Pep’s men could reopen those wounds.
Javi Gracia’s men are in OK form as they have won 3 of their last 4 outings.
Four of their last eight trips away have seen at least four goals netted, and they’re facing a Manchester City side who have seen at least four goals in eight of their last 11 home league games.

Southampton – Tottenham Hotspur

The home side failed to make headway in the campaign for survival as they deservedly lost at the Old Trafford. It was by no means a boring affair as Manchester united fought till the final blast. It was a highly pulsating affair.
That loss leaves the Saints in search of points as they are now only 2 points away from the drop zone. Their brief resurgence have now taken a nose dive as they have now won just once in 6 games.

The North London club have also been poor in recent games. Their last game against Arsenal ended in a draw which equals to 3 games without a win. They are clearly out of the race for the title and now a real battle to stay in the top four is eminent. With 10 points between and league leaders Manchester city things might just get worse.
Spurs have now lost their last 2 away games but still, that isn’t enough reason to forget how dangerous they are away from home. So far, they have won 11 of their 15 away matches this season.

In this fixture, they come up against a side who have lost 3 of their last 6 home games. With their continental success still fresh on their minds, they should head here with shoulders high.

Away win or draw and both teams to score

Newcastle – Everton

The Magpies did look like they were destined for relegation earlier in the season but experienced manager Rafa Benitez has started pulling the right strings. Danger hasn’t been averted totally yet but they sure look like they would be staying in the EPL for a while .
St James’ Park is slowly returning to it’s status as a fortress as they have now seen a four games winning run. This includes the impressive victory over Manchester city.

Everton dealt Liverpool a major blow in their quest to secure the title as they held them to an impressive draw. Prior to that draw was a convincing 3 nil win over Cardiff however they have just 4 wins in the last 16 encounters.

Away from home they have been defeated 6 times in 10 and have recorded just 3 victories. They find themselves in 10th position and 6 points adrift of Newcastle.

Home draw no bet
