England – Premier League

Everton – Liverpool

It’s another Super Sunday edition once more and the Merseyside derby is taking the stage. Everton play host to league leaders Liverpool at Goodison Park.

Marco Silva’s style of play has robbed off on the team hence making their play more attractive, however this is yet to have an effect on their results. The blue side of the river are have a very rough patch in recent times. They have lost 8 of their last 12 encounters in the top flight and find themselves in the race for 7th place alongside Watford and Wolves. Everton have found the net just 8 times in 9 matches.

History clearly favors the visitors as Liverpool have the upper hand from the last 18 clashes with 9 wins and 9 draws. With that being the case, Everton would love nothing more than to be a thorn in Liverpool’s flesh as the battle for the title. This most certainly isn’t a good time to be facing the Reds either. The team who top the league just showed what they are capable of with that 5-0 thrashing of Watford.

Napoli – Juventus

In Italy, one game that stands out is the one involving this two sides who look to be in fine form at the moment. It’s looking like a really stern test for the visitors but their attention would be on the champion’s league. The old Lady’s are still unbeaten but have seen a couple of down sides over the past weeks. They lost to Atletico Madrid in the champion’s league and also got eliminated from the Copa Italia, thanks to Atlanta’s brilliance.
