* MATCH NUMBERS FROM 1 to 15 > For the first time ever, European nations will take part in the Uefa Nations League – a competition devised by the continental governing body to add increased competitiveness to international fixtures.
The UEFA Nations League is an exciting new project which should spice up the often drab mid-season international friendlies thanks to the new league structure that features promotion and relegation.
It also has an impact on qualification for Euro 2020, offering another way into the tournament other than the traditional qualifying campaign.

* Match No.30 = POSTPONED > Crewe Alex’s home game with Mansfield Town on Saturday, September 8 has been postponed.
The Stags will be without three first team squad members due to international call – ups, and have requested the fixture is changed. They have call-ups for players in for UEFA U21 Championship Qualifying and CONCACAF Nations League matches and they therefore requested to the EFL to make the postponement.
Both clubs are now working on rescheduling the fixture and the new date will be communicated to supporters as soon as possible.

* Match No.39 = POSTPONED > MK Dons’ upcoming Sky Bet League Two fixture with Yeovil Town has been postponed due to the Glovers’ international call-ups.
The match, due to be played on Saturday 8th September, will now take place at Huish Park on Tuesday 25th September at 7.45pm.
