Having losing eleventh games on the bounce, Jong Utrecht come into Monday’s clash with Jong Ajax as absolute underdog. They surprised everyone as they managed to pull out a 3-3 draw, but they still remain at the foot of the table with 15 points all season. They are almost certainly going to return to losing ways when promotion candidate Sparta Rotterdam come to town tonight.
Sparta Rotterdam come into this clash in pretty decent form, winning 5 and drawing 1 of their last 6 games in the league. Ragner Ache’s strike secured a 1-0 winner against Nijmegan last time and their chances of securing return back to Eredivisie is looking brighter at this point.
Sparta’s are the second highest scoring team in the Division and a game against the weakest defence will only see the stats increase. It’s 43 points between these two teams, so it doesn’t take a rocket science to see why the visitors are the absolute favourite for the victory here.
