Club Brugge had an excellent start to the season where they won 6 of their first 7 matches in the league. But they’ve got into a results crisis recently. None of their last five matches in all competition has resulted in a win and they’ve dropped to second in the league standing, three points behind new leader Genk. Despite this horrendous form, they still remain a tough team when playing in front of the home crowd, where they’ve allowed just one point to their visitors so far this season.
Oostende as usual are positioned in the middle of the table, but they are struggling badly for results recently. They haven’t booked a win in the last four occasions which was largely has to do with their inability to keep things tight at the back. We’ve seen them conceded in all but one of their last eight games. Their last away game ended in a comprehensive 4-0 defeat at the hand of Gent. The visitors always struggle when playing against the top sides in this league and i think that trend will continue today.
Club Brugge are strong favourites and they really need to get back on winning track to catch up with leader Genk.
