England League Two
Lincoln vs Crawley Town
Pick: Lincoln win
Odd: 1.55
ANALYSIS AND MATCH PREVIEW
Lincoln City will be looking to continue their fine league form when they welcome struggling Crawley to Sincil Bank this afternoon. They come into the game off the back of a midweek Checkatrade loss to Mansfield but that was a much changed line up. Last week’s away win at Exeter who were unbeaten at the time is a more realistic gauge of where Lincoln are at and what should be expected this afternoon. The host have won five and drawn one of their league games this season seen them sitting comfortably on top of the log with 16 points.
Crawley on the other hand are in a bit of a crises at the minutes, despite sitting just below mid-table with seven points from their six games. Away from home, they won 0-1 at Cheltenham on the opening day but lost 1-0 at Port Vale and 2-1 at Oldham. Add to that the fact that manager Harry Kewell has left the club to take the vacant manager’s position at Notts County following the dismissal of Kevin Nolan. Today, they will be managed by inexperience ex-players Jimmy Smith and Filipe Morais.
- Lincoln have won their 3 home games in the league scoring at least 2 goals.
- Crawley have conceded an average of 2 goals per game this season
Lincoln are expected to dominate this game from the first minute and having average just over 2 goals in their games this season, one would expect them to put at least a couple past the struggling visitors here.
