Baselafter a very low key start to the season are improving slowly. They come into this game on a back of a 3-2 win against Sion a match which highlighted how vulnerable they’ve been recently.There were knocked out of the Champions league by Greece side PAOK conceding as many as 5 goals on aggregate.
Vitesse on the hand though wasn’t up to the task in the first leg, despite having more of the ball possession and chances created, suffering a 0-1 defeat. They recorded a morale boosting 5-1 victory against Groningen in the their domestic league on Saturday and they will be hoping they’d overturn the 1-0 deficit against the Swiss giant. They need to attack from the first minute and chase a victory.
Both teams are far better in attack than their defensive lineups are and with the result in mind, it’s difficult to see both teams to netting here.
