With one-third of the flagship tournament series completed, the Online Super Series XL heads into its biggest weekend.
Americas Cardroom, a leading bitcoin poker site, announced that its flagship Online Super Series XL (OSS XL) tournament series has already awarded more than $20 million in prize money during the first third of the schedule. With over $28.2 million in guarantees still to be played, the series now moves toward its biggest weekend, highlighted by three Main Events offering a combined $5 million in guarantees.

Americas Cardroom’s OSS XL is an extra-large edition of the Online Super Series, the site’s flagship tournament series. The expanded schedule features more than $50 million in guarantees, with buy-ins ranging from small stakes to high-stakes headline events.
The $50 million guaranteed OSS XL is one of the largest tournament series currently running in online crypto poker. So far, the series has generated $20,064,205 in payouts against $19,377,750 in guarantees, reflecting strong participation across multiple buy-in levels.
Online poker operators increasingly rely on large tournament series to drive liquidity and engagement across global player pools. In crypto poker environments, where payment flexibility and cross-border access can expand participation, large guaranteed tournament series such as the OSS XL often represent key moments in the online poker calendar.
So far, the largest individual payout of the series came in Phil’s Thrill XXL, a $1.5 million guaranteed event that ultimately generated a $2,060,000 prize pool. The tournament drew 206 entries and concluded with player “ErculePokero” capturing the title and a top prize of $496,027.
“The early stages of the OSS XL have already produced significant prize pools, but the largest guarantees are still ahead,” said Chris Moneymaker, Pro at Americas Cardroom. “The Main Events traditionally attract some of the biggest fields in the series, and they’re where many of the headline payouts happen.”
The next major milestone arrives this weekend with the OSS XL Main Events, which together carry $5 million in combined guarantees. Players will have three opportunities to compete for seven-figure prize pools, including two $2 million guaranteed events with buy-ins of $2,650 and $1,050, as well as a $1 million guaranteed Main Event priced at $215.
Day 1A flights begin this Sunday, followed by additional Day 1B entries on Sunday, March 22nd. Survivors will return for Day 2 on Monday, March 23rd to determine the eventual champions and the largest payouts of the series.
Beyond the Main Events, several high-profile multi-flight tournaments remain on the OSS XL schedule. These include a $1.5 million guaranteed event with a $630 buy-in, as well as two $500,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty tournaments priced at $109. Additional Mystery Bounty events are also available at lower buy-ins, including a $150,000 guaranteed event for $33 and a $100,000 guaranteed tournament for $5.50.
Americas Cardroom has also introduced a leaderboard competition alongside the series. The OSS XL Leaderboard Contest distributes $65,000 in additional prizes, including cash and tournament tickets, across High Stakes, Mid Stakes, and Low Stakes tiers.
With more than $28 million in guarantees still remaining, the final stretch of the OSS XL is expected to produce the largest prize pools and player fields of the series. Players can compete for those payouts using cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals through the Americas Cardroom platform.
