England – Premier League

Burnley – Tottenham

The home side did seem relegation bound after qualifying for this seasons Europa league campaign. They had way too much on their plate with the number of fixtures to play and thus won just 2 of their opening 15 games.
The Claret are on a 7 match unbeaten run which includes a win away to Brighton and a 2-2 draw against Man Utd. They find themselves with 3points above the drop zone with 12 matches left this season.

Their visitors Spurs, happen to be the best away side in the league as the have acquired 33 points from 13 away league matches. Tottenham haven’t been in the news much this season. Their champions league campaign group stage was nothing but a struggle before their shock 3 nil win over Borussia Dortmund in the 1st leg tie of the round of 16.

All attention seems to be on Manchester City or Liverpool when talking about the Premier league trophy. However, Pocchentino’s men could steal the show at any time.

Away win or draw and over 1.5

Bournemouth – Wolverhampton

The season kicked off quite well for The Cherries whose fortunes have in recent times turned sour. Losing 6 times in 7 games is a really poor show of form but they seem to be improving although nothing close to what we witnessed when the season started.

Their last outing saw them demolish Chelsea by 4 goals to nil and this brought some positives. The Cherries seem to have found their home form once more as they have now won 4 games in 6 at the vitality Stadium. Liverpool are the only other team in this 6 games to leave with 3 points. They lost 3 Nil to Liverpool following a 2 nil loss to Cardiff at the start of the month.

Wolverhampton find themselves in relatively okay form as the managed to progress in the FA cup. Their last outing was quite disappointing as they drew 1-1 with Newcastle, they still sit in 7th position with just 2points adrift of the next team.

On away trips they have managed 11 points from a possible 24 and they have been impressive against top teams. It’s however disappointing that the do have a less impressive record against teams outside the top 6.

over 2.5 goals

Spain – LA Liga

Sevilla – Barcelona

This happens to be the standout fixture in the La Lisa this Saturday. Barcelona take a trip to Sevilla to face one of their biggest tests in a bid to retain the league title. Real Madrid lost last weekend to retain Barcelona’s 7 point lead at the top. The Catalans would heave a sigh off relief if they could make it past this week with positive results.

Barcelona are not in the form they’re quite known for and we’re clearly content with a goalless draw away at Lyon. They do have 4 straight away games and back to back El Clasicos how they fare, we will see.

The home side saw off Lazio in their Europa league tie during the week and would be looking to hurt Barcelona here. With Barcelona’s very tight schedule, Valverde would be looking to rest some key players. The result of such a action we did see in the Copa del Rey as Barcelona lost to Sevilla 2 nil.

Barcelona have only won once in their last 5y encounters and this sure doesn’t look like an easy but to crack.
