England – FA Cup

Chelsea – Manchester United

Chelsea have managed to get back to winning ways as they dispatched malmo since the 6 nil white washing by Manchester City. Maurizio Sarri’s men will still be harbouring thoughts of the huge loss and would be looking to make a statement here. That 4 nil defeat came on the back of losses to Arsenal and Bournemouth making it 12 goals conceded in 3 away games.

Back at the Stamford Bridge they could have a better outcome although they have also faltered there in recent times.

Manchester United come into this game like wounded lions after seeing PSG defeat them at the Old Trafford. Since Solskjaer Gunner took over this season that loss happens to be his first and leaves their chances of making it to the next round hanging by a thread. Prior to that defeat united had been on an 11 game unbeaten run.

Their last 6 matches away from home under Solskjaer also ended in victory while they scored 15 times whilst doing so. The game is going to be a tight affair and it’s all going to go down to who wants it more.

Both teams to score

Italy – Serie A

Roma – Bologna

The home team are in a battle to qualify for the next round of the champions league. Back home they need to secure a top four finish to help secure a place in the competition for next season. They happen to be getting back in form of late and would be showing that when they play host on Monday.

Visitors, Bologna have Mihajlovic as the main factor for their only win of the season. That win cane away at Inter Milan, this season they have already beat Roma and would be hoping to repeat the feat. This however won’t be an easy task for a team with just 3 wins all season.

48% of Bologna’s matches have ended in a defeat meanwhile Roma have come out victorious in 5 of their last 6 home games.

Home win

Germany – Bundesliga

Nurnberg – Borussia Dortmund

Nurnberg find themselves in a position of huge concern at the moment. They did limit Bremen in their 1-1 draw, nevertheless they still struggled upfront when they played against Hangover. The obvious factoid that Monday’s host have been quite impressive at home than on away fixtures . They could easily frustrate a team when they play in front of their home supporters.

As expected, the visitors are clear favorites to win this and they do have enough quality in the squad to pull this off. However, looking at their away fixtures Dortmunds haven’t been impressive and with Nuremberg ability to keep things at the back, this game could be really tight to call. The visitors have had their attacking firepower cut down as Marco Reus and Paco Slaver are injured. They have dropped points in 2 of their last 3 away games winning just one in the process.
Dortmund are yet to score more than one goal away from home since their win against Schallrôoø in December.
