England – Premier League

Manchester City – Chelsea

Manchester city secured a win at Everton to help reduce the deficit at the top . Their midweek rumble with the Toffees wasn’t so convincing but they got the job done continuing in fine form after thrashing Arsenal. It’s obvious this season hasn’t been as rosy as the last for followers if City. They have already lost double the number they lost last season in just 2 months.

Some of the teams who earned maximum points off the Citizens include Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Leicester and most recently Newcastle. This stats might give the visitors a glimmer of hope. It’s also worth stating that just one of those defeats came at the Etihad. Pep’s men have won 12 of their 13 fixtures in front of home fans and have scored 43 goals in the process. This has seen them scored at least twice in all of their last 14 games including their loss to Crystal Palace.

Chelsea have had a very poor run in terms of away form so far, they have 3 wins and 4 debates from their last 7 fixtures away from the bridge. They have lost to the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Wolves, and most recently Bournemouth. It’s also worthy to more that their loss to Arsenal makes it 6 games without a win when playing 1 of the league’s top 6 sides.
With Citizens almost perfect home run and Chelsea’s poor form away from home the visitors could be in for a real battle.

OVER 2.5 goals

Tottenham – Leicester

Pocchentino’s men had to battle to the very end last weekend at home against Newcastle. It was a late strike from substitute Son Heung-min which was the decider of the tie. This is the 2nd game in a row Tottenham have had to secure a late win with the previous being against Watford. It’s now 3 wins in 3 games for the North London team in white.

Currently, Tottenham are 3rd on the table with just 5points away from Liverpool and Manchester City at the summit. They do look like a team very much in form winning 9 of their last 11 fixtures even with a bulky list of injured first team players.

The focal point of this Spurs team with Kane injured is Son Heung-min and the South Korean has proven his worth on numerous occasions. He now has 10 goals this season. So far he has had 11 starts this season with 3 goals and 2 assists to his name in the last 2 league games which he started. He would definitely be an awesome choice for the anytime goalscorer option.

Leicester unlike their host have been dropping points and falling down the table with so much precision. They were rather unfortunate in their 1 nil loss to Manchester United which made it 4 games in a row without a win. The foxes have also lost 6 of their last 10 encounters.

They have now lost 4 of their last 6 premier league games and history ain’t on their side with their visits to the Capital. So far, Leicester have won just once in their last 11 trios to the capital. This game sure looks like tight call but Tottenham should be able too deliver the goods.

anybody to win and under 4.5 goals
