Manchester United – Liverpool

Manchester United’s interim manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer started life at the Old Trafford on a fairly easy note. All of which became past tense as he lost his first of 3 huge fixtures to come. Arsenal – Southampton

The gunners had to overcome a 1 nil deficit to Bate as the beat the opponents in the return leg to make it to the next round. Unai Emery who started off on a bright note certainly has more work to do as Arsenal find themselves out of the top 4. And with 3 defeats in 7 encounters coupled with Manchester United’s resurgence it’s turning into a real battle.

On a brighter note, Arsenal’s shortcomings have mostly come in away fixtures. This surely wouldn’t be good news for Southampton who head here searching for a positive result. As they find themselves in 18 position and a point adrift of 17th place.

Away from home the Saints have lost 7 timea already and now come up against an Arsenal side whose only loss at hone came against Manchester City on the opening weekend. Thy have also shipped in 12goals from 4 trips to the teams in the big 6.
This sure looks like a win for the home side.
