Schalke were drawn alongside a trio of respectable opponents in Porto, Galatasaray, and Lokomotiv Moscow in the group stage, but in the end qualified finishing second ahead of Locomotive and Galatasaray. Schalke aren’t in great shape at the moment as far as their form is concerned, but opposite is the case for the visitors who are crushing everything in their paths recently.
