Graafschap couldn’t do much last time succumbing to a 4-0 defeat at the hand of Feeynoord. They will however look to continue their fine form in front of the home crowd when they welcome Utrecht to De Vijverberg later this afternoon. The host are undefeated in their last three games at home, much impressive is the way they played during those games. They followed up with Impressive 2-2 draw against Vitesse, by comfortably easing past Sittard and Breda in a 5-1, 3-0 scoreline respectively.
Utrecht scored twice against PSV las time but could only grab a draw, which is a good result considering the quality of their opponent. They have picked up two wins and a draw from their last three home games prior to the PSV clash. Away from home, they really need to do more, having losing their last three away against Zwolle and AZ in the league and Feyenoord in the KNVB Beker. The visitors have now gone six games without a victory in league or cup, so confidence is bound to be low.
We’ve seen more than two goals in three of the last six meetings between the pair, and five of the hosts’ and four of the visitors’ last six games have also seen at least three goals scored, so backing over 2.5 goals here look like a decent pick.
