England: Premier league

Manchester united – Burnley

Its week 24 and the host are only 3 points away from the top 4spot, and just last week they progressed to the next round of the FA cup. The Red devils defeated Arsenal at the Emirates to make it 8 wins in 8 matches for the new boss. United have now scored 22goal within this time and with current performances put in the spotlight, they should get all 3 points here. In a couple of weeks PSG would need to worry about this united side who are brimming with confidence at the moment.

The visitors, Burnley are also on the up as they have now won 3 of their last four matches. These results saw them move into 16th position and 3points away from the drop zone. Unfortunately, the Clarets have been disappointing on away fixtures as they have lost 7 of their 12 away fixtures this season. They are also winless against the top six big sides which makes them the perfect opponent for Ole Solskjaer.

Home over 1.5 team goals

Arsenal – Cardiff

Cardiff are set to honour Emiliano Sala’s tragic disappearance as they get into action when they visit the Emirates. The bluebirds had a very difficult week as they had lost to Newcastle before the incident. They have had at least 10 days’ gap before this visit to the Emirates.

Arsenal would be looking to respond to critics after losing to Manchester united at home last week. That 3-1 loss led to their FA cup exit, they could hold down a resurgent Manchester united side. However, they are just 3 points away from the 4th position also after defeating Chelsea 2-0 in their previous outing. Unai Emery continues his push for a top 4 finish and with Arsenals home record so far, they should get on top of things here.

Cardiff head to the Emirates as one of the teams in the premier league with a very awful away record. With 8 losses in 11 trips, they have been able to pick up just 5 points in all 11 encounters. They have been very poor against the league’s top 7 teams losing to all 7. With Manchester united breathing down Arsenals neck, the home side would do their best to secure the top 4 spot.

Home over 1.5 team goals

Newcastle – Manchester City

The magpies may be number 3 on the list of teams with the worst home record in the league this season. Only 5 teams have conceded fewer goals than Benitez’s side. They simply know how to organize themselves when they come up against worthy opposition. Losing by only a single goal to Chelsea on 2 occassions, same against Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester united and City.

City would be expected to continue that trend here besides they have won 15 of their last 16 matches against Newcastle.
Pep’s Man city are still solidly following up on Liverpool, waiting for the Merseyside team to slip up. Its Guardiola’s 100th game in charge and he has won 73 of the 99 matches already played. And would be hoping to surpass the former United boss who hold the record at 73 wins from his opening 100 matches.

City have a score line win aggregate of 28-0 from their last 6matches but it’s likely to be a tight one against the popular black and white stripes.
