Chaves look to be slowly turning the table recently after a very poor start to the season. They come into this game in three games without defeat. After back to back draw against Setubal and Feirense, they managed to pull out a 2-1 victory against Tondela. But overall, the stats still looks poor for the host who have been defeated in 11 of their 17 games played so far in the league. Tiago Fernandes’ side conceded 24 goals this season while scoring a mere 12 goals in return.
FC Porto are in great form especially in the league where the Dragons are unbeaten since October 2018 after a narrow 1-0 loss to Benfica away from home. The visitors may have another easy day at the office with Chaves on the receiving end. They have lost just 2 matches but won 14 of their 17 matches in total. It took a 0-0 draw at Sporting to stop an incredible 18 games winning streak in all competitions including the UEFA Champions League.
