Arsenal – Chelsea

The gunners hope of making it into a too four position took another blow last weekend as they lost to West Ham. That loss saw their points between teams increase and decrease unfavourably .

Unai Emery’s gunners come into game week 23 level on points with the Red Devils and 6 points away from their visitors who occupy the 4th position. Arsenal have won just 2 of their last 6 premier league game but will be hoping to get back into the top 4.

The Blues have had they own share of mishaps as they lost unexpected to Leicester City and Wolverhampton. These losses brought their title hopes to a halt. Chelsea have conceded in 4 of their last 5 games . 8 of their 10 premier league away fixtures have seen at least 3 goals and they come up against an Arsenal side who have seen a massive 16 goals in just 4 matches and a whooping 78 in 22 games.


OVER 2.5 goals

Manchester United – Brighton

The red devils continue to look unstoppable with since Ole Gunner Solskjaer took over affairs at the Old Trafford. Football enthusiast world over waited to see if they would repeat their great form and they did just that against Tottenham with alot of from their number 1 goalie, David De Gea.

Same fixture a couple of months back would have seen them get thrashed.
That win made it 6 wins out of 6 for Solskjaer’s Manchester United thus 5 consecutive wins in the premier league. They are just 6points away from the top 4 and are on level points with Arsenal.

Brighton are clearly the weaker side in this fixture considering the host’s current form. However, they are a very good side as well and showed just that with that 3-2 win in the reverse of this fixture. They sit in 13th position at the moment which isn’t surprising as they gun for a Europa place spot. With 6points between them and 7th position their recent form is the most worrying factor.


Home to score over 1.5 goals

Bournemouth – West Ham

The cherries poor run of form continued last weekend as they fell to a deserved defeat at Everton. That loss saw them fall to 12th position despite their fairytale start to the season. They still have a fighting chance with just 5points adrift of 7th position.

Unfortunately, in the race to qualify for a Europa league spot they are the most out of form side. With just 2 wins from their last 12 they have real work on their hands if things are going to look up.

The hammers have showed recently that they aren’t an easy opponent . West Ham have had their share of mishaps this season, but now have 6wins in 9 fixtures after they defeated Arsenal last weekend. They find themselves in the top half of the table at the moment and they would want to keep up the momentum. Away from home, the hammers have recorded 3wins from their last 4 and would be looking to do more damage when they visit the vitality stadium.
