Welcome to the champions league match day 6 fixtures. Here group leaders would be decided on this particular match day and some teams would see their dreams cut short.

The top spot of this group has already been taken and the host see themselves looking onto Europa league football in 2019. Despite making it back to the European league, they still haven’t been able to make a statement. And another match against the group leaders might not just go their way.Porto lead the preceding of this group and are also doing a great job of defending their title. At the moment they lead 2nd placed Benfica by 4 points.

The visitors come into this encounter unbeaten in their last 5 European games but same can also be said of the host who are also unbeaten in their last six European games in the competition.

UNDER 1.5 GOALS IN 1st half

The Spanish giants are already through, and they do so in style as they finish at the top of the group. Barcelona has lost just one game in 30 of their home European matches so far.  Recent years the camp nou has become a fortress as Barcelona are now unbeaten in their last 28 champions league matches.

Despite the aforementioned stats, Spurs have just one job which would be to defeat Barcelona. They would also be hoping that their opponents wouldn’t take the match with the same level of seriousness. Spurs have drawn each of their 2 away trips and would definitely be looking to grab all three points.

Both teams to score

Liverpool have it all to do when the Italians come visiting, the visitors can afford a defeat and still go through. The host find themselves in 3rd place and would be needing a win to make it to the round of 16. The reds would be looking to avoid another termination and they would need to win with goals to do so.

Napoli have a head to head advantage seeing that they won Liverpool by a single goal. Last campaign saw them resting players to keep up with their domestic league adventure and the outcome was fatal. This time around they would be looking at a win and thus this game could bring end to end action non-stop.

Both teams to score

Monaco’s poor form in the champions league cannot be attributed to just this campaign. Generally, Monaco have been dreadful on the continental stage in recent years. They managed to win their first game since Henry’s arrival. On the European scene they have lost 6 matches conceding quite a lot of goals in the process.

Dortmund head into this game after putting an increase on the point difference between themselves and Bayern Munich. Their last game saw the German side lose some points in a game that sure looked like a win. That slip up now leaves them with just one game and a chance to finish top of the group.Dortmund would be looking to do everything possible to make sure they win so as to get a fairly reasonable draw in the next round.
