St Mirren were the best team in the Championship last season as they gain promotion to the premiership in an impressive manner. But they’ve found life in the top tier very difficult. They won their first game of the season against Dundee who are now languishing on the bottom of the table. Since then The Buddie’s lost 9 of their 10 matches and managed to get a draw ones against the then troubled Celtic. With just 4 points, the host sit at second from bottom, one point better than Dundee.
Considering the quality difference between these two teams, it’s not a matter of weather the visitors will win but how many they’ll score against very weak St Mirren. Rangers average more than 2 goals scored per game while the host average more than 2 goals conceded per game. Therefore backing the visitors to win and over 1.5 goals looks like a solid banker pick here.
