Denmark Superligaen

Vegle vs Copenhagen

Pick: Copenhagen win

Odd: 1.54

Copenhagen will be looking to add another 3 points to their name and continue the fight for the league title. Though it’s still early into the season but things have started shaping up in the Danish league. Its looking likely that either of Midtjylland and Copenhagen will be crowned champions come the end of the season. Both teams are on 25 points coming to the weekend but Midtjylland moved 3 points ahead with a victory at Nordsjalland yesterday. This makes getting the three points more crucial for Copenhangen today. The visitors travel to Vegle winning four of their last six games. They thrashed Randers 4-0 at home in the last match and Coach Solbakken will be looking to win this match and close the gap on the team on top.

Vegle had a brilliant season in the second division and hence qualified to play among the big boys of Danish football this season. They’ve not had the best start though, sitting in the 12th position in the league which is not good for the Reds. They lost 4 and had just one win all of their last 8 games and they will now face another tough opposition. In their last game, the Reds lost Davidsen early through suspension and went on to concede 3 goals against Sonderjyske with 10 men.

  • Vegle have won just 1 of their last 5 home games
  • Copenhagen have won 3 of their last 5 away games

Copenhagen with their recent away record looks the better team and the morale of the home team are way below after that loss against Sonderjyske. It’s difficult to see past another confident away win for Copenhagen here.
