Huddersfield poor start to the season continues on Tuesday when they were beaten by Championship side, Stoke city(0-2). In the Premier league, the host sit at the bottom of the table with just two points to their name. They’ve already lost four games this term including 1-6 whitewash against Man city and 0-3 against Chelsea. So meeting another top six team in Tottenham would be the last thing they’d want right now. Last week Saturday, despite scoring first they went on to lose 3-1 at Leicester, so confidence is expected to be at the lowest.
Tottenham managed to get through to the next round of the Carabao cup on penalty on Wednesay against familiar foe Watford after 1-1 regular time. In the premier league, they managed to return to winning ways last weekend as they laboured to a 2-1 victory against Brighton. The win should boost their morale after back to back defeats against Watford(1-2) and Liverpool. It was their fourth victory in Premier League, as the side now stands at fifth position with six points less than leaders Liverpool.
There will be no excuse Spurs but to seek a three-pointer in order to get back into the race for the Champions League spots at least.
