Napoli travel to Genoa later this evening in a bid to continue their superb start to the season.

Genoa might be staying a few places above the relegation zone, but they have little to show in the points column. The start to the campaign is disastrous and this far managed 6 points from the 9 games.

It took them until match-day 8 at Cagliari to pick the first win of the campaign. Next up was a struggling AC Milan, but Genoa were held to a goal-less draw despite having a man advantage for more than an hour.

On the other hand, Napoli’s perfect winning start in the campaign came to an end against Inter Milan on the weekend. The match ended goal-less, but there were no scarcity of entertainment and either of them could have scored a couple of goals if not for some spectacular saves from the goalkeepers.

Napoli remain at the top of the league table with a 3 point gap against second placed Inter Milan. They are not expected to loose ground any time soon especially not today when they come up with a side they are far superior to. They had won 8 on the bounce before the goalless draw at Inter Milan on Saturday.

I expect this Napoli ruthless attack to find the Genoa’s net at least twice which should be enough to earn the 3 points. Therefore I’m going for a Napoli win and over 1.5 goals to be scored.
