Star-studded Ludogorets with a lineup featuring as many as nine Brazilians remain heavy favourites to go throughin this clash. But they will need to be in the front gear throughout this game if they want to avoid problems with super inspired Zalgiris’s side. Georgi Dermendzhiev’s men have completely dominated Bulgarian football over the last couple of years. They claimed the league crown for the sixth consecutive time last season. They featured the group stage of Champions League last year and they want to get there for the second time in a row.
Zalgiris showed a brave performance to dispatch Bulgarian champions Ludogorets in spite of being massive underdogs prior to the first leg at Vilniaus LFF stadionas. The Lithuanian champions found their way back into the contest after conceding an early goal from Anicet Andrianantenaina. The French substitute Serge Nyuiadzi and mantas Kulys created an amazing comeback to keep the dream alive ahead of the rematch in Razgrad.
The Lithuanians are, however, still miles away from the third qualifying round which would be the greatest success in team’s history. Zalgiris took the silverware in the top flight of the Lithuanian football for the fourth consecutive time last year. However, they have never managed to pass the second round of Champions League qualifiers.
Moreover, prior to the clash with the Bulgarians, Zalgiris failed to score a single goal in last three Champions League fixtures on the home ground. However, it seems that the team led by Valdas Dambrauskas is ready for big things this year. They strengthened their lineup with Romanian attacking midfielder Antal show showed a huge display on his debut for Zalgiris last week.

The lithuanian as seen from the first leg can score against the host but Ludogorets are still huge favourites, they have to go all out attack from the first whistle which I think will make this game a very open one.
