As expected by the bookies and punters, Germany and Spain made it all the way to the final. But unfortunately there can only be a winner, and looking back at how and mode in which both team have dispersed their opponents on the road to the final, we should be safe by backing Spain to go home with the trophy.
The young Spaniards have been ruthless in attack in all their games so far bar the 1-0 win against Serbia. It must be said though that that narrow win was as a result of the coach opting for an overly rotated squad since their qualification to the semi final had already been confirmed. All other games have seen them scoring at least 3 goals. This is no surprise for a squad that can boast of talented players like Marco Asensio, Saul Niguez, Deolofeu(who have 9 goals between them in this tournamen) and many other super talented players.
Young German machines have also lived up to their credence as co-favourite to win the trophy. But despite their attacking abilities, I think their unreliable back line will be the reason they’ll fall short against the Spaniards tonight. They do possess the talent of their own in players like Serge Gnabry, Timo Warner and some promising young players who can make things happen.
While it won’t be outrageous to go for a Spain win, I’m going for a safer option of Spain win/draw and over 1.5 goals which pays 1.65 with Bet9ja.
