ANALYSIS AND MATCH PREVIEW
Poland are top of Group E with 13 points and they still remain unbeaten in their last 6 games played. Their attack lead by Bayern Munich potent striker Robert Lewandowski rarely disappoint as they have recorded goals in all their last 6 games.
Poland last game was against Montenegro where they record an away win(1-2). When Poland travelled to Romania in their previous meeting they won convincingly, game ended 0-3. Similar results should be expected tonight when the Romanian boys come to town.
They have a decent home record, with only one defeat in their last 11 matches played on home soil, winning 8 and drawing the remaining 2. Front men Robert Lewandowski and Arkaduiz Milik have been inspirational for the polish team, and we can only expect goals when these guys are available upfront.
The Romania team come into this clash with less than impressive form. Their inability to create chances and score goals has been their major problem. While they’ve been managing to hold off team which results to many of their Games ending in draws, they’ve failed to score since their 0-5 win at Montenegro.
Romania sit at 4th position in group E with just 1 point adrift of 2nd and 3rd place Montenegro and Denmark. It’s a very open group with even the last place Armenia having a shout at the playoffs.
All in all, the gulf in class and quality between these two teams should see the home team come out victorious.
