Dortmund come into this clash as massive favourite and they know they can’t afford a slip up as they are one point short of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga standings with three games to go. The Yellow Submarine have netted six goals total in the back to back wins over Freiburg and Mainz, they will look to continue such good outings today as they entertain out-of sought Schalke 04.
Shalke meanwhile are having one of their worst ever seasons and don’t look able to turn things around, even following a managerial change. They’ve won just 3 of their 17 matches since the turn of the year which is quite shocking considering we are talking about a side who were runners-up in last year Bundesliga season. Just six points separate them and 16th placed Stuttgart in the relegation zone. Their struggle was evident last time when they were badly exposed by Hoffenheim, thrashed by 5-2.
No doubt about the fact that the host are the massive favourite here against a side who have conceded at least two goals in each of their last four away days. Backing Dortmund to win and over 1.5 goals should be seen as a solid banker pick here.
