Once again you are welcome to another edition of weekend match previews across Europe as we take a look at some interesting fiztures. Read on to find preview/ predictions on this weekend’s games.

FRANCE – LIGUE 1

Monaco – Montpellier

The host managed to secure their first win under new manager Thierry Henry over the weekend in an encounter with Caen. This weekend however they face a much more difficult opponent. The team were on a 16 match run without a win despite haven dominated preceding’s in some of those games. It’s actually rewarding to finally get a result after so much work, against Atletico they also showed positives but couldn’t get their final acts right.

Montpellier have been in impressive form so far this season, only losing just 2 of their opening 14 matches. They have also been able to get results against tough oppositions. Their resurgence have seen them step up to the top 4 position on the league.

PICK

Home win draw no bet

SPAIN – LA LIGA

Real Madrid – Valencia

Real Madrid showed class once more in the champions league as they defeated Roma in their own backyard. In la liga last time out, they had a devastating 3-0 loss to Eibar but responded brilliantly on the continental level. That win has helped them secure a top place finish with a game to spare.

The visitors saw their champions league dreams get terminated with a 1-0 loss to Manchester united, thanks to a Fellaini goal in injury time. Valencia will now see their concentration change as they now fall into the Europa league.
As far as the la liga is concerned Valencia look to be in great form as they have now recorded consecutive wins. This could be a real boost against a Madrid side that have not been so impressive yet.

This is one fixture that is always affiliated with lots of goals and we do expect the trend to continue.

PICK

Over 2.5 goals

GERMANY – BUNDESLIGA

Werder Bremen – Bayern Munich

Bremen have been impressive this season with reference to their standard and achievement so far this season. They now have 18 points from 12 games and would be looking to get a result here. This fixture is the third most contested fixture in the Bundesliga and as expected the away side has come out victorious more times.

Bayern haven’t been in the best of forms this season as they have now drawn one and lost one in quick succession. They dropped points in those games despite being ahead at some point. Dortmund are now 9 points clear at the top of the table thus making the chase much more difficult.

PICK

Away win or draw and over 1.5 goals

ENGLAND – PREMIER LEAGUE

Manchester City – Bournemouth

The citizens looked set to lose once more during the week as Lyon seem to have the antidote for Pep’s men. Kuin Aguero however equalized for the team in blue outfit to help them secure a place in the knockout round. Coming to England however their results have been flawless, although their defense seems to do better away than at home.

Bournemouth have been impressive and were unlucky to have conceded an own goal against Arsenal which the gunners built on. Their attack has been the main cause of worry to any opponent as the cherries have now scored 22 goals in 13 games. That’s the best goals scoring stat for any side outside of the top 5.

With Manchester city’s ability in front of goal coupled with Bournemouth recent goal scoring prowess, it should be a goal fest.

PICK

Over 2.5 goals
