Eintracht Frankfurt have lost on consistency late in the campaign and they’ve failed to make the top 6 cut for it, lagging four points behind RB Leipzig after suffering five losses in eight last eight games. However, they travel to Olympiastadion in Berlin for their DFB Pokal Final clash against Bayern Munich hoping to forget all about it, as silverware would surely make it all better at Commerzbank-Arena.
Bayern Munich have, on the other hand, convincingly topped the league table once again, finishing the Bundesliga campaign with a 21-point gap behind them. They have suffered a thrashing 1-4 loss to Stuttgart on the final day of the campaign, though, and this could be far more worrying for Josef Heynckes’ men!
Bavarians have struggled to cope with the motivated visitors and their consistency in front of the home crowd has been jeopardised once again. They have also been very convincing in their head to head clashes against Eintracht, earning 11 wins and just three draws in 14 games played against the rivals since November 2010.
Bayern are heavy favourites against an outfit which lost three of last four Bundesliga games. Therefore, will be backing the Bavarian to win with over 2.5 goals at full time.
