Walsall are not enjoying a good form as they’ve only managed to celebrate just one win in the last six matches. They are currently sitting on the 16th position being five points above the relegation zone. In the last two matches the host have suffered two consecutive defeats. They need to break this negative run of they want to stay away from the trouble.
Wigan despite some blips of form still remain one of the best sides in this league and they are in good position to continue their push for direct promotion back to the Championship. They haven’t tasted a defeat in the last four occasions and are three points behind Shrewsbury Town, however they have played two games less than their rivals. Paul Cook’s side has been very productive in the front while at the same time.
Wigan still maintain the side with the best defence in the league and are performing excellent at away pitches where they’ve managed to celebrate 11 times.
The visitors have bettered their host in every area this season; they’re far more creative and productive in the final third, while they’re much, much tougher to breach. Considering all the stats, backing the visitors to bag the 3 points makes perfect sense here.
