Nice have not started the season in the best possible way. But after scoring nine goals in back-to-back wins over Zulte-Waregem and Monaco, they wont be short of confidence when they welcome Vitesse to town this evening. Les Aiglons backed up fine performances with the away victory over Rennes, but the terrific atmosphere has been slightly lost with the 2-2 draw against Angers SCO on the home patch at the weekend.
Vitesse entered the season pretty good and currently are holding 3rd position in the Eredivisie with 13 points from six games. Against Lazio they fell to a 3:2 defeat despite leading twice and after that failed to win in the next two competitive games. However, on Sunday they bounced back and beat Ajax in Amsterdam.
Despite Nice`s inconsistency, they should be searching for victory here and will hardly be kept quiet. I expect an open game with goals here, but i see the home team nicking the 3 points in the end.
