I have never sent messages 3 times in a week to this discussion room or any other room in this blog since I joined this blog around 2018. One of the craziest things I have done is to tell 10 selected persons to stake my game 10k each person, with the promise to refund them their 10k if my game fails.
Right now, I have put 100k aside so as to fulfill my promise in case of misadventure. I told them that to boost their confidence in the game, though I meant to keep my promise.
I really don’t want to win alone , I want to win and turn the lives of so many stakers from rags to riches. If you like when you see my game this week, scroll up and have yourself to blame later.
Most people would say that they have never seen Statistician make mouth like this before. I have heard people say if you brag, Cardiff will humble you, yes, it is true if Cardiff has not certified you. It is pertinent to state boldly that Statistician is now a CERTIFIED Compiler by Cardiff.
For those of you that don’t know the true meaning of a compiler in pools terminology, a compiler is someone who uses the teams(the football pools fixtures) to model a sequence of numbers. That you forecast with team movements doesn’t make you a Compiler. To qualify to be called a compiler, you must have developed your own weekly forecasting paper (independent of other forecasting papers).So, not just that I am a compiler, I am a certified compiler by Cardiff.
I am really so happy that I have finally arrived. All those years that I was experimenting , I noted all of you. So this week, brace Up and make good use of the numbers that I would present here today’s evening (because I want to go through it again to make sure that there is no arithmetic or systematic error).
Talking about error, I would like to inform you that after like four weeks from now, I will sign off from pools analysis and then focus on my teaching profession(as usual). This time, I am going to give them my last services, meaning after next year JAMB and WAEC exams, I will resign from teaching to go back to my computer programing course. I really don’t want to be compiling my forecasting paper manually, i want to develop a program that would do that(this will eliminate human errors).
I have actually written a lot this week because my joy knows no boundary. Someone asked me yesterday “Statistician what if you are wrong about this your conclusion”, I answered him that the feeling that has engulfed me is the same type of feeling whenever I solved a science question and my spirit said you are correct and it also turned out to be correct.
