Our weekend pick will come from Spain Laliga promotion battles between Malaga and Deportivo.
The first leg of this game was played on Tuesday and it was the Deportivo who came out victorious in an absolute goalmouth action, 4-2 final result. It’s very unlikely to expect similar scoreline today but we think there’s high chance of both teams finding the back of the net once again.
Malaga look extremely well in position of securing a famous win at Deportivo when they scored and lead twice at half time on Tuesday but a very disappointing second half display saw them conceding 3 second half goals. They ended the regular part of the season with five consecutive victories and surely will need that sort of form to have any chance of overturning the 4-2 deficit.
Deportivo will be feeling very confident after their high quality performance in the first leg on Tuesday. Malaga of course needs two goals atleast to have any chance of progressing and will attack from the start, while Deportivo can settle their authority with away goals, and can be counted on to go after it.
