Today’s pick will come from the Ireland Premier Division where St. Patrick’s Athletic play host to struggling Finn Harps.
St. Patrick have drop so many points recently but they’ve only tasted just one defeat in their last five outings. They will hope to take advantage of their visitor’s poor form and record their first three points in a while. They did pull impressive performance with another late comeback at Sligo Rovers last week, their second comeback in as many games following the 1-1 draw against Cork City. Even though St. Patrick have not been a great side this season, they are hard to beat especially in front of the home crowd where they remain in the top three base on their home form.
Finn Harps poor forms continue last week when they recorded another disappointing performance as they where trashed 3-0 in front of their home fans. They’ve been the worst team in the league for quite some time now and are a front runner to get relegated. On top of that, they have not yet won a single tie on the road, and have conceded the most away goals so far, at a rate of 2.5 per fixture.
Expect both teams to be on the front foot right from the first whistle and we think this going to be quite an open game. That said, the stats heavily backed the host to take all the three points, hence backing the host to win and over 2.5 goals is the way to go here.
