Feyenoord poor form continues last time when they surrendered to another 3-2 defeat, this time at Utrecht. Prior to the Utrecht trip, they were also exposed by the Willem ll in a 3-2 defeat in front of their home fans. They will now come into this game with just one win in six games, three defeats and two draws. Despite the host poor form they’ve been scoring over 2 goals on average, so they’ve been let down by their porous defense on just too many occasions.
Heerenveen have been playing hot and cold throughout the entire season, much like their counterparts. They were in good form lately winning four of last five games, but a 0-3 home defeat to De Graafschap was kind of hard to explain. They kept a rare clean sheets last time against Excelsior, the first in the last six outings.
We should definitely see goals here considering all stats including the recent head to head clashes. Backing home win or over 2.5 goals has little or no value. Host not to lose and over 2.5 goals represent better value which should sail in easily.
