Fulham with seven defeats in their last eight EPL games are looking like a team destined to return to the Championship at the end of the season. Their hope of survival took a major blow during the midweek when they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at Southampton. It was their fourth consecutive defeats which left them in huge 10 points adrift of the safe zone. They’ve won twice(Huddersfield and Brighton) and 3 draws at Craven Cottage but all games against the top six sides ended in defeat.
Chelsea come into this game in desperate need of points and will be very determine to get their first win on the road this year. Arsenal, Bournmouth and Manchester City have all been the benefactors of Chelsea slump away home as the blues failed to record a single goal in all the defeats. The 4-0, 6-0 wounds against Bournmouth an Man city respectively is still fresh. The 2-0 home win against Tottenheim did little in term of respite to the Maurizio Sarri side sitting at the sixth position. They are five points behind Manchester United in fourth but with two outstanding games.
Fulham have shipped in 26 goals in front of the home this season. Chelsea will never have better chance of recording their first away win of the year in the league.
