Cyprus started their Euro qualifiers campaign on a positive note when they emphatically dispatched lowly San Marino 5-0 on Thursday. Cyprus have only lost 2 of their last 10 games at home overall, but asking them to bag another victory here will be an almost impossible mission considering the Red Devils notched seven goals without any response in two comprehensive wins over Cyprus in the previous WC Qualification campaign.
Belgium had little problem prior to the hosting of Russia when they confirmed many of their regular starters won’t be playing, but they didn’t have much problem easing past the visitors with a 3-1 scoreline. Tielemans scored his first international goal and Harzard was also on target twice. The visitors despite some absents still has immense quality all over the pitch.
Cyprus have only failed to score in 1 of their last 6 matches and Belgians are a very good attacking side, they scored super impressive 43-goal tally in 10 World Cup qualifiers. Considering all these backing over 2.5 goals to be scored here looks like a very safe pick.
