Its the first week of november and what a way to begin. Match day 4 of the champions league is here. Read on for match previews and predictions.

Atletico Madrid – Borussia dortmund

The reverse fixture between two evenly matched teams became a one way street as Dortmund stole the headlines. Diego Simeon had one of the worst defeats as coach of Atletico Madrid as his side lost by 4 goals to nil.

During the weekend, the host suffered another setback in the domestic league as they drew 1 all with Leganes. Meanwhile in the Bundesliga Dortmund continued in fine form as they defeated Wolfsburg to go four points clear.

With Atletico’s defensive prowess and the away sides scoring forming both teams would be very careful.

Pocchentino would be hoping his side gives their all while keeping things tight at the back. Their defensive woes are the main cause of their problems at they showed when they almost slipped up over the weekend. In recent matches the host have looked to impose themselves against opponents.

They have now scored six goals in two matches. with the way they went about their business in the reverse fixture, they should be able to attain maximum points.

The visitors have also been impressive coming forward scoring goals is the least of their worries. Goals seem to be the way to go in this fixture.

This is one of the fixtures on Tuesday that should produce fire works. In the reverse fixture Psg came from behind twice to secure a point in a thrilling 2-2 affair. That result keeps Psg in third place and a loss here would be setting them up for elimination.
Napoli has a great attack line and two wins can seem them make it to the round of 16. Psg look under pressure as they would try to do any and everything to gain more points. They woyld be looking to better their chances of reaching the next round.

Monaco – Club brugge

Football icon Thierry Henry is in search of his first win as his side look to be going through tough periods. A loss in this fixture ends their hopes of seeing the round of 16.

Monaco sitting second from the bottom of the league and hold same in their champions league group. Having sold most of their big names in past years they struggle to get the youngsters to turn up. Their recent injury worries worsens the situation further. And this came to the fore as the lost over the weekend to Reims.

Brugge on the other hand have been at the forefront for the Belgian title as they sit in 2nd currently. They have however failed to bring that attitude to the big stage. After three games they have just 3points and we’re able to get a draw off Monaco in the reverse fixture.

The group has clearly been divided into with Atletico and Dortmund sitting in the top half. We really can’t state where the pendulum would swing to but the goals might be missing.
