Dortmund are enjoying a phenomenal spell of form coming into today’s crunch game. They come into this game on a back of another excellent 4-0 winners, as they condemn Athletico Madrid to their biggest defeat since 2002. Just a week ago they travel to Stuttgart and came out with a 4-0 winner. They took nine out of nine points in three Champions League fixtures and sit at the very top of the domestic league ladder after winning four on the bonce in Bundesliga. The host have now notched at least four goals in all of last four league outings as well and they are curently the most in form team in the 5 top European leagues.
Hertha are also enjoying a decent start to the new season. They sit 6th in the ladder, but won’t come into this in the highest of spirits after failing to see off the relegation strugglers Freiburg last time out. Pal Dardai’s men struggled in the build-up play of late failing to find the net on more than one occasion in last two matches against the likes of Mainz and Freiburg.
