Troyes will be looking to continue their push for immediate promotion back to Ligue and this evening they will be favourite to record another three points at home, Sochaux will be the visitors. For Troyes the international break came at the wrong time. After a disastrous start, they have finally found their feet in Ligue 2 and are one of the leagues form sides collecting 10 points from their last four games which is a far cry from the three points they claimed from their opening six games. They’ve won three home matches on the spin and will be looking to maintain their impressive run of results against a Sochaux side who are heading in the opposite direction.
Sochaux suffered a 2-1 defeat at home against Metz just before the break. They are now without a win in four ( three defeats and a draw) scoring just one goal. The visitors has dropped to 15th in the league with 10 points and getting anything away at Troyes would be a tough ask. Sochaux have lost three of their five games played on the road.
Considering the form of the visitors, can’t see them doing doing much against a side bang in form and who have three clean sheets from their last four games. Troyes look good on paper to claim the three points here, but we are going for a more safer pick of Troyes winning either of the half which comes at a decent 1.60 odds.
