Newly promoted side Wolves drew 2-2 against Everton on the opening day of the season. It seems they were in control until we saw that Wolves were losing the match against 10 men as Everton had Phil Jagielka sent off. The club followed this up with a loss against away to Leicester by 2-0 again playing against 10 men. Despite the fact they will be home, they will be the serious underdogs to get anything here as they take on the mighty Manchester City.
City have been superb so far and the champions look on course to try and win back to back titles. They easily took care of Arsenal at the Emirates in the first round by winning 2-0 and then they destroyed Huddersfield 6-1 last weekend with Sergio Aguero scoring a hat trick.
They don’t look like they will be missing Kevin De bruyne who will be absent for the next 3 months.
Wolves will have some chances here and will want to fight for the win but they are coming up against a very strong Manchester City side who are hungry for all of the titles around them.
Backing Manchester City for the win look very short but there’s a bit of value backing at least 3 goals to be scored. Wolves have conceded at least 2 goals in their first two games against Everton and Leicester, so it’s easy to see them been walked over by the Citizens. Playing at home, won’t be surprise to see them contributing too.
