Club Brugge began the title defense quest in a super string fashion, clinching initial wins over AS Eupen and Royal-Excel Mouscron. They will be looking to maintain the perfect record in the third round as well as they are set to host the struggling Kortrijk side at Jan Breydelstadion. Despite having a man sent off inside the opening 15 minutes of their match away against Mouscron last week, Club Brugge still managed to come out on top (0-1).
