Club Brugge will begin their title-defense quest this afternoon when they play host to AS Eupen at Jan Breydel stadion. The hosts were already in action last weekend beating Standard Liege in the Super Cup final. The head coach Ivan Leko started with Hans Vanaken just behind Wesley and Jelle Vossen in a 3-5-2 formation. It worked very well against a formidable opposition as Vanaken and Wesley bagged two quick goals to push Blauw-Zwart two goals ahead before the break. They will be massive favourites to get off to a victorious start in the First Division A as they take on the modest Eupen side on the opening day of the new campaign.

Eupen ended the Europa League play-offs at a disappointing fifth position (out of six teams) winning juts two of ten games in the final rounds of last season. The visitors have won none of their six away matches against those who finished inside the top six last season, while they conceded at least three away against Brugge, Gent and St. Liege.

  • Brugge have won their last 3 home games against Eupen scoring at least 3 goals.
  • The last 7 games between these two teams has seen at least 4 goals scored.

    So many of them are using this blog to defraud people of their money in the name of keys.
