Ostersunds have really upped their game since returning from the short break. The 4-1 hammering of Trelleborgs last week makes it their fourth games without defeat. The host have taken seven points out of nine possible points from last three league ties despite playing the likes of Hammarby and Malmo FF in the process. Also they’ve won all their last 3 games at Jamkhraft Arena beating Hacken(2-0) and Sirius(5-2) before the 4-1 drubbing of Trelleborgs last week.
Elfsborg meanwhile have been playing hot and cold throughout the campaign. They fell down to 11th in the league standings after failing to find the net in last two league outings. They did not conceded many either, but eventually won just one point from matches against Hammarby and Norrkoping (pretty tough schedule, though). Despite their difficulty finding the back of the net recently, they’ll surely be trying their best to get on the scoreboard against an opponent who have conceded at least a goal in each of their last four games. But even if they do, it will proberbly not enough to get them the 3 points.
Considering every possibilities, the host should be able to avoid defeat and the game should be a fairly open one. Therefore, backing home team not to lose and over 1.5 goals looks like a very safe pick here.
