Basel didn’t enjoy their last campaign as they finished as the runners-up. This time, they want to be more competitive for the title, but their performances in the pre-season are not very promising. Valentin Stocker and the lads lost three times in a row, and the last two defeats were heavy as they conceded a total of nine goals. They should be looking to improve urgently if they don’t want to have troubles in the earliest stage of the season.
St. Galen finished on the fifth spot last season and due to their terrible finish and seven straight defeats they slipped down from the Europa League zone.
