POLAND

They had a fairytale qualification leading to the world cup as they won eight of the ten matches played. Although they lost woefully to Denmark (4-0), these were the only opponents to keep a clean sheet against the poles.
Moving on they had a much better friendly run as the demolished Lithuania 4-0 in their last game before the tournament. Prior to that they had a 2-2 draw with chile which is an addition although they let two goals past them.

With Kamil Glik out injured, the defensive setup does look weak. Following their perfomances in recent times, records shows that they have kept just one cleansheet in their last five games. Senegal with a not so bad attack could find the back of the net.

Captain of the side and Bayern Munich’s top striker Robert Lewandowski would also be looking to continue his fine form as he seeks to help his country make it to the round of 16.

SENEGAL

This is the second time Senegal would be competing at the world cup.
The obvious danger man for this team would be liverpools Sadio Mane. Other known players like Kalidou Koulibaly in the heart of defense, while Moussa Sow and Keita Balde who would own the midfield. They do have a number of experienced players from the English premier league.

In their most recent friendly game, they defeated South Korea with two goals. And prior to that, lost to Croatia 2-1 even though they played brilliantly. With only one loss in their last ten games, they won’t be an easy nut to crack come Tuesday.

With both teams looking well matched up in talent and individual player ratings plus having a top strikers at both ends (Robert Lewandoski and Sadio Mane), this game is most likely going to produce goals.

This game is shaping up to be a very closeup affair as Senegal on the other hand have drawn five of their most recent ten games. And with Sadio Mane upfront anything is possible, he does have 20 goals to his name for Liverpool from last season. He also found the back of the net against Real Madrid in the final of the champion’s league.
