Home side secured a good 2-2 draw away to AGF and now they have a slight advantage since they are playing in front of their crowd. They found the way through the playoffs by snatching the 2nd place in their group, while they finished as 8th in the regular season. Christian Jakobsen and the lads were doing fine in front of the oppositions’ goal while their defence was also solid. Sonderjyske are in a streak of four wins when playing at home pitch.
The visitors booked a double 3-2 victory over Odense in the previous round of the playoffs and showed that they know how to play against the favourites. They haven’t lost in the last four matches which were exceptional in terms of numbers of goals scored. In each of them, the crowd was able to see at least four goals.
