Celtic are 9 points clear on top of the Scotland league standings. In this matchup, it is almost certain that they will defeat Dundee Fc and obtain 3 more points. Their Europa League adventure has, however, seen an end on Thursday when they fell 3-0 to Zenit in Russia and Rodgers now only has domestic affairs to focus on until the end of the season.
They are expected to take advantage of playing in front of the home crowd. They remain undefeated in their last 3 home games and thus this one will not be an exception. However their last home game was a 0-0 draw against St. Johnstone.
Dundee have been consistent with their form on the road. They have only lost 1 of their 6 away matches. They managed to defeat Patrick Thistle last week end away from home in a match that ended 1-2. We should not forget that Dundee Fc have scored at least 1 goal in their last 4 Premiership away matches.
Celtic are massive favourites and I can’t see anything other than a comprehensive home victory here. Despite the home team favourite tag, we shouldn’t rule out visitors finding the back of the net. All things considered, Celtic win and over 2.5 goals is a safe pick here.
