Bayern Munich should record their third victory in Group B at Celtic on Tuesday night. A win for Jupp Heynckes men will mean they will remain in second as PSG look certainty to win at home against Anderltecht.
Celtic have 3 points in their bag, courtesy of a rare away win at Anderlecht. But they have lost both to PSG and Bayern by massive margins.
With Bayern winning in 2 of their 3 games and PSG in all three, Celtic’s chances of progressing from the group are slim unless they manage to win in all of the remaining three games. Even getting a result on matchday 4 seem to be difficult with Bayern finding their mojo under Jupp Heynckes. The Bavarians picked 4 wins and a draw from 5 matches.
The Germans have netted 14 times in their last 6 matches against stronger opponent. So there is no indication that they will be stop by this Scottich side i like to call the Local Champions.
Looking at the quality difference between these 2 teams, i’m backing the visitors to win by scoring two or more goals.
