They overturned a 1-0 away defeat in the first leg in the third round against Vardar Skopje with a 4-1 home win. But, Qarabag are a totally different proposition built on a solid defensive platform. Even scoring 2 goals against the Azerbaijan team look like a very difficult task.
Qarabag are unbeaten in all competitions this season, with 5 of their 7 matches so far played in the Champions League. The encouraging stat for the Azerbaijani team come from their stable defense that has let in just 2 goals from their 7 matches this season. In Champions League alone, they have 4 wins and a draw, along with 4 clean sheets.
The home team will be very cautious of their visitors here as they will be trying to stop them from getting an away goal, as an away goal for visitors could land them in more trouble.
With both side defensive capabilities, we can be confident that this clash will likely be another low scoring affair, also i cant see the Danes losing at home as the visitors will likely be limited to just few chances from counter attack. Therefore, home win or draw and less than 4 goals seems to be the safest bet here.
