Swansea got a result at Southampton but they weren’t great. Swansea are also in deep problems in attack after the departure of Gylfi Sigurdsson who moved to Everton. Sigurdsson who is one of Swansea most important player from last season has left the club to Everton. Llorente is expected to be sidelined for the hosts also, leaving the Swans desperately short of attacking power. The lack of creativity in midfield could force Paul Clement to play a defensive game.
On other side Manchester United, started season very good as they smashed West Ham 4-0, with fantastic debuts enjoyed by Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic. Despite last season’s poor playing in the Premier League, the Red Devils still won seven of their final 12 away league games, keeping a clean sheet in seven of these matches.
The last six matches between the two sides across all venues saw both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals. Notable point, United have scored in each of their 6 visits to the Liberty Stadium.
United were better away from home last seson, and their ability to counter with Lukaku and Rashford it’s now bigger than last season. Swansea have never kept a clean sheet in the Premier League against Man United in 12 previous attempts.
